Switzerland has played a significant role in shaping the development cooperation landscape in Latin America and the Caribbean over the past six decades. This broad meta-analysis provides a comprehensive overview of SDC’s bilateral engagement in eight countries in Latin America over six decade. In 2025, Switzerland will embark on a new chapter of collaboration with Latin America and the Caribbean.

At the end of the second call for projects of the Solution-Oriented Research for Development (SOR4D) programme, the SNSF selected eight projects, which will be funded with 7.5 million francs in total.

Urban food systems are confronted with questions of supply and demand to address malnutrition in all its forms. The Nutrition in Cities Ecosystems (NICE) Project aims to tackle such challenges
